Bare Naked Noodles Sausage Rigatoni Penne Noodles Cream Sauce Tomato Basil Sauce Pepper Place 3rd Cafe Grand Opening

Introducing another Bare Naked Noodles recipe. This week, we want to share one of Linda’s personal favorites: Penne with Sausage in a Tomato Cream Sauce.

We will start posting regular recipes each month with some great ideas for your dinner table. Of course, we use our great products to make these dishes and we will link you to where you can purchase them too. We hope you enjoy this week’s dish.

Ingredients 

1/2 pound of penne, cooked according to Pkg instructions for al dente 14-15 mins

1 pound of bulk Italian Sausage, cooked and drained

1 jar of our homemade Tomato Basil Sauce

1 cup of heavy cream

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

1/4 cup grated fresh Parmesan

 

Directions

Firstly, combine the sauce and cream in large pan. Bring these to a boil then reduce the heat to a simmer. Then, let cream reduce for 10 minutes.

Next, add your penne pasta and sausage to pan. We have some great flavors you can try instead of plain penne. We offer a Whole Wheat Garlic, Tomato Basil Penne, and some great Gluten Free Options as well. Stir to combine both the past and Sausage. Add both cheeses. Cook for 1 minute to melt cheese, serve with cracked pepper on top.

OR, put the mixture in baking dish, cover with cheese combo and run under your broiler until bubbly and brown on top. We recommend serving with a green salad and chunk of fresh bread.
